Hi guys! ❤️ I wanted to introduce myself for those who are new here and don’t know me yet. My name is Mia Goldstein (Maria is my second name hehe) I’m 23 years old and originally from Ecuador 🇪🇨, my first language is spanish. I’ve been tattooing for 4 years now! and honestly, I still can’t believe I get to say that! I’m a full-time artist and a student, studying Illustration at @rmcad online. In my free time, I get to do what I love most: tattoo amazing people like you✨ although the beach is my true escape hehe☺️. I started tattooing out of pure curiosity. I’ve always been an artist, and one day I thought, “Why not explore a new medium?” Funny enough, that new medium ended up being skin, something so real and permanent. After some time working on South Beach, I came across the Instagram stories of someone I truly admired in the industry @tatu_panda . He instantly became a huge inspiration and role model for me. One day, I saw he was looking for apprentices. I wrote out an email three times but never sent it, because, let’s be honest, why would he choose me out of a million others? But I seriously underestimated myself. A few days later, I got a DM from him asking why I hadn’t applied 🥹. I screamed, cried, and felt a joy I’d never experienced before. He saw something in me, and I’ll always be grateful for that ✨. That was four years ago… and I’ve never looked back. I joined the team and became his apprentice alongside @cristinasantats and @mateo_tats , two incredible artists who helped shape me into who I am today. To everyone who has been a part of my journey, thank you. I’ve grown so much, not just as an artist, but as a person. I’m in a place in my life now where I feel deeply connected to my most authentic self, and I just wanted to share that with you.
