But this isn’t just about the tattoo-it’s about everything behind it. Getting sober (2 years 9 months and counting) rebuilt me from the ground up, gave me the strength, focus and the chance to become the artist I’ve always wanted to be. Grief carved a lesson I’ll never forget: Life is fleeting, and every moment matters. That same impermanence is what the Namakubi represents…and Reyna’s love gives me the strength to carry forward. Together, we honor that truth in every piece I make. My family and friends have stood by me through it all, and without their love and support, none of this would have been possible.
